Ceramic Mug, (11oz, 15oz) (EDMOND BERGER)
$5.83 – $7.48
Edmond Berger is credited with inventing an early version of the spark plug on February 2, 1839. Although he did not patent his invention, his work was significant in the development of internal combustion engines. The spark plug is a device that delivers electric current from an ignition system to the combustion chamber of an engine, igniting the fuel mixture to generate power.
Berger’s invention was revolutionary for its time, even though it was not commercially successful. Later, in 1902, Gottlob Honold, an engineer working for Robert Bosch, patented the first commercially viable spark plug.
